Hello, and welcome to Whole Growth Psychological.
I am Dr. Lauren Ross, a New York State licensed psychologist with experience providing counseling and psychotherapy to children and adults. I take an individualized approach with each client, tailoring treatment to your unique needs and journey. My orientation emphasizes cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness techniques as well as integrates psychodynamic approaches to support our understanding of the present. With a background as a yoga and mindfulness teacher, I strive to weave in the complementary tenets of these practices across treatment, believing we especially grow when we feel grounded, in spite of the noise of our lives.
Additionally, as a clinician and nationally certified school psychologist with over a decade of experience in the nation’s largest school system, I also offer psychological/psycho-educational evaluations, executive functioning assessment and coaching, as well as consultation for caregivers of children with disabilities and learning differences.
